For pediatrician Dr. Shadab, his practice is first and foremost about supporting the health and well being of his many child patients. “I really care about children. I know that children are the fundamental basis for the future. What we have to do as physicians is care about them. We have to watch them and we have to make sure they are healthy and grow well.” He is also accessible and approaches children with great understanding and support. Medical Assistant Shiva Najafina further explains, “Dr. Shad is warm and loving and has great experience – and this is why I bring my own children here.”

Dr. Shadab’s sheer dedication enables him provide comprehensive patient care tailored to each individual. It is Dr, Shadab’s goal to develop and create a valuable and lasting partnership every family in his care.

Dr. Shadab clearly assess every child patient’s growth and development with each regular office visit. These checkups allow Dr. Shad and his top medical support team to monitor children in order to speak comprehensively with parent’s about their child’s health.

Dr. Shadab also firmly believes that parents should educate themselves about their child’s nutrition. Growing children need to eat a healthy diet that is rich in vitamins and minerals. Understanding the basics of child nutrition can help parents to avoid common mistakes, make healthy choices, learn about new things and teach their children healthy eating habits.

Dr. Shadab is a board certified pediatrician with fellowship in neonatology. His expertise lies in detecting and treating the slightest abnormality of growth and development of premature babies, infants and children. He has been practicing Pediatrics in Orange County, California for over 30 years continuously. Dr. Shadab has been the chairman of several major hospital pediatric departments and has taught UCI medical students. He is also an executive board member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
