Your child must be visited and screened by a doctor regularly. First visit arrangements will vary according to each individual baby. The timing of this will be discussed prior to your baby’s hospital discharge. After the first few weeks of age, the usual schedule is as follows: 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, then yearly from age 2. It is very important for you to schedule your child’s next physical at the time of each checkup to ensure your child stays up to date with recommended healthcare.

He has been practicing Pediatrics in Orange County, California since 1979. Dr. Shadab has been chairman of the pediatric departments and has taught UCI medical students. He is also an executive board member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
